Then the October 3-9, 2016 delegation of the Anti-Imperialist Front and their visit and the countries, organisations and people conducting anti-imperialist struggle were discussed. Briefly the aims of the visit to Syria and the gains for the Anti-Imperialist Front achieved were evaluated by the participants.
After the evaluation, great stress was laid on the work of the Anti-Imperialist Front in Syria in the short term, as well as who would be participating in the work, as well as the work in the coming period of the anti-imperialist organisations and people in the world, especially in the Middle East.
The participants said they were impatient to begin their duties and met with enthusiasm the news that concrete work would be under way in Syria. With enthusiasm they said ‘We accept our responsibility for this Front. Whatever may happen we will spread to every area to get more people to take part in the work and we are proud of puting our full labour into the Anti-Imperialist Front…’ they said, stressing the sacrifices that would go into taking up the duties of the Anti-Imperialist Front. After the evaluation and the meeting, Turkish and Arab folk songs were sung. Moreover information was given about the October 21 police raids on the Idil Culture Centre and the Youth Federation in Okmeydanı, Istanbul. It was said that the attack on revolutionary democratic institutions by the fascist system would prepare the way for the system’s end at the hands of those who struggle against it.

“Anti-Emperyalist Cephe’ye Bütün Gücümüzle Emek Vermekten Gurur Duyarız”
Suriye Halk Cephesi 27 Ekim’de Suriye Şam’da, Halk Cephesi ve Anti-Emperyalist Cephe dostlarıyla bir araya gelerek dayanışma ve Cephe’nin hedeflerini konuşmak üzerine bir yemekte buluştu. İlk olarak katılımcılar birbirleriyle tanıştı ve aslında bütün Suriye’de yaşayanların kardeş olduğu söylenerek yemeğe geçildi. Türkiye ve Suriye yöresel yemeklerinin ikram edildiği güzel bir sofra kuruldu ve her iki ülke halklarının leziz yemek kültürleri üzerine güzel tanımlamalar yapıldı.
Verilen yemeğin ardından ilk olarak Türkiye’de bulunan Halk Cephesi’nin tarihi, önderleri, hedefleri mücadele biçimi ve önüne koyduğu hedefler anlatıldı. Ardından ise 3-9 Ekim 2016 tarihlerinde Anti-Emperyalist Cephe’nin heyet oluşturarak, anti-emperyalist mücadele yürüten ülke, örgüt ve halkları ziyareti üzerine konuşuldu. Kısaca, Suriye’ye yapılan ziyaretin neyi hedeflediğini ve kazanımları Anti-Emperyalist Cephe’ye katkıları nedir diye katılımcılar tarafından değerlendirildi. Değerlendirmeden sonra yakın bir tarihte Suriye’de Anti-Emperyalist Cephe’nin yapacağı çalışmalar, çalışmalara kimlerin katılabileceği, ileriki süreç için başta Ortadoğu halkları olarak bütün dünyada anti-emperyalist düşünen ve mücadele eden örgütlerin ve insanların katılmasının büyük önemi olduğu vurgulandı. Suriye’de çalışmaların somut adımlarla başlayacağı haberini duyan katılımcılar sevinç ve coşkuyla şimdiden bir görev almak için sabırsızlandıklarını söylediler. Bu coşkuyu yaşayanlar “Biz bu cephede her sorumluluğu kabul ediyoruz. Zorluğu ne olursa olsun… Başka insanları da katmak için her bölgeye yayılırız ve bütün gücümüzle emek vermekten gurur duyarız…” diyerek fedakarca Anti-Emperyalist Cephe örgütlülüğü içerisinde görev alacaklarını belirtti.
Yapılan değerlendirme ve dayanışma toplantısının ardından Türkçe ve Arapça halk şarkıları söylendi. Ayrıca 21 Ekim’de İstanbul Okmeydanı’ndı Grup Yorum’un çalışma yürüttüğü İdil Kültür Merkezi ve Gençlik Federasyonu baskını hakkında bilgi verildi ve Türkiye’deki düzenin bütün devrimci demokratlara saldırısının faşist düzenin sonunu hazırladığı ve mücadeleyle yıkılacağı belirtildi.
